
Sean Stephens is a founding member of Stephens Margolin P.C. He was born in Eugene, Oregon and is a fourth generation Oregonian.
Mr. Stephens attended the University of Oregon, and graduated in with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in English Literature. His psychology studies emphasized early childhood development.
Mr. Stephens attended Willamette College of Law in Salem, Oregon, and graduated in 1994. Out of law school, Mr. Stephens began his own private practice, and formed Stephens & Russell in 1998. He left Stephens & Russell in 2004 to found C. Sean Stephens, P.C. and then founded Stephens Margolin P.C. which is devoted to the practice of family law. Mr. Stephens taught family law at the College of Legal Arts, located in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Stephens enjoys time in the outdoors and with his family. He also enjoys writing for the Oregon Divorce Blog a free information service on divorce and family law.
Daniel Margolin is a founding partner of Stephens Margolin P.C. and a Portland, Oregon native. His practice focuses on all aspects of family law litigation. In addition, Mr. Margolin practices in the areas of Family Law Appeals and Collaborative Divorce.
He received his law degree from the nationally acclaimed New York University School of Law. After graduating Mr. Margolin worked at the Oregon Court of Appeals for the Honorable Rex Armstrong. He then worked as an associate attorney at a local law firm. In 2005, Mr. Margolin formed the Law Office of Daniel Margolin, which, like Stephens Margolin P.C., focused on family law representation.
He is a member of the Oregon State Bar and American Bar Association Family Law Sections. He also belongs to the family law section of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Margolin is trained in Collaborative Divorce representation.
